First and foremost, we are following all guidelines laid down by the state of New Jersey and the Borough of Spring Lake in regards to how to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and keep both employees and future guests safe. You may find some of those guidelines at the top of this page, under the first section which contains COVID-19 updates.
When possible, all check-in procedures will be handled prior to the guests arrival-- payment will be taken the morning of the guest's arrival, unless requested otherwise by the guest, and all check-in information will be sent to our guests in advance, so they will be able to head directly upstairs to their rooms. Because of this, we will not allow check-ins before our 2pm check-in time. Beach badges will still be available prior to that time, however.
Within our own building, common areas are disinfected daily, with special attention paid to disinfecting areas frequently touched, such as door knobs, door handles, countertops, and railings. Our rooms are, of course, held to the same stringent cleanliness standards as always, and we have placed an additional emphasis on disinfecting and sanitizing.
Our office is kept locked, even when staff are present, to maintain a safe environment for our staff, and to prevent any outside contamination in the office. As such, we ask that if a guest has a question, or a request, they call the front desk directly, instead of coming into the office to speak with a representative.
